Following on from the questions of how the wine trade is implementing a Sustainability agenda, the questions turn to the topic of Organic wine production and, of course, the belle AND bête du jour, Natural Wines.

Organic wines, or organic grapes used for wine production, are more common-place than they have ever been, but the discussion about organic production is increasingly dominated by broader questions of social & environmental concern or giving wines a “sense of place”.

The term “Natural Wine” itself, not simply the wines, continues to be a topic that divides the trade. What do we understand by this, what does it mean for the wine trade, for wine consumers and where does it go from here?
